For the nanotools® M*-CNT-100 we pushed our proofen EBD technology to the dimensions of a CNT, maintaining EBD´s key strength. Our M*-CNT-100 is not using a multiwall carbon nanotube attached to a silicon cantilever.
What is critical in nanotube technology is solved for the M*-CNT-100:

The high aspect ratio part of the probe is made from HIGH-DENSITY, DIAMOND LIKE CARBON( HDC/DLC).

One tiny amount of static electricity while you are handling these probes will destroy the tip!
We highly recommend that you utilize an ESD station and if you do not already have one, we have a mobile ESD station for only 69.95 USD.
Considering the costs of these probes, this is a very wise investment.
NANOSENSORS?„? Carbon Nanotube Probes are designed for high resolution imaging.
They are not suitable for surfaces with high aspect ration structures like very narrow deep trenches or contact holes.
They are expert probes that require special care to enable the user to profit from their unique properties and achieve good results. For further information please have a look at our brochure "How to use a Single / Double Wall CNT Probe".
The production process results in probes with Single or Double Wall CNTs in the same production run. Unfortunately it is not possible to select them.
